The Emmys come only but once a year. And this year's looks to be more diverse than ever, comedy wise that is. The usual suspects like Veep are there but then newcomers like Samantha Bee and Pamela Aldon join the fun. The Emmys air on Sunday, September 17th at 8 PM. Stephen Colbert will host so we know who's not winning his award...(jk I don't know).
Leslie Jones and Tom Hanks make the best pair in these SNL promos
This weekend, America's Tom Hanks returns to Saturday Night Live for another stint in hosting. He's promoting Inferno and probably do a Sully joke. Maybe the real Sully will be there too. Who knows? Anyway, Lady Gaga will be there doing music. And Leslie Jones will be doing the most, which is why we love her.

Tom Hanks, Jon Stewart, Others Help with a Salmon Cannon on 'Last Week Tonight'
Last Week Tonight's first season ended last night so that means no more for a few weeks. But John Oliver went out with a bang. He and his crew made a salmon cannon which is exactly what it sounds like. What? No, it's not some type of sex toy. Grow up. Anyway, Oliver takes a few shots at every famous friend he has including Tom Hanks, Jimmy Fallon and Homer Simpson among others.
