Wyatt Cenac To Debut Netflix Special On October 21, Touring Too

Netflix is set to debut former Daily Show correspondent Wyatt Cenac's new special Brooklyn on October 21st. Deadline reported today that the comedian is also releasing the special as an limited print vinyl LP through his production company Amalgamated Bear.

The special was recorded in the city it's named after at Union Hall. Topics include a cop drama, probably a reality show about cheesemongers and the weirdness of adults giving each other hickies. Brooklyn will feature puppets as well as cameos from comedian Eugene Mirman (“Bob’s Burgers”) and Gbenga Akinnagbe from “The Wire”.

Cenac will tour through the US in twelve series including San Francisco, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh.

Like Tig Notaro, Hannibal Buress is also doing the tour circuit this year. A.V. Club reports that the pickle loving comedian is set to begin visiting series on October 10. This time around the tour is named the Comedy Camisado. October 10 is also the hopeful premiere date for Broad City season 2 so look forward to at least one of these things. Cities in the Comedy Camisado tour include Atlanta, St. Louis, and Cleveland.

Tig Notaro is ready to try out some new material with her latest nation-wide stand up tour. THR reports that the comedian is set to perform live across the nation in cities including Atlanta, Dallas, New York and San Diego.

Notaro is known from her painfully true yet still incredibly funny album Live in which she talks about her breast cancer treatment. She hoped to shop her latest jokes in small venues but she's now too big for that sort of thing:

"It was really embarrassing because I would go to these clubs and they would introduce me, 'Well, we are really in for a treat tonight!' And meanwhile I didn't have any material," Notaro tells THR.

Check out Notaro's website to get official details on tour dates.

UPDATE: The tour is called the Boyish Girl Interrupted Tour.
