Fans of G.L.O.W Wrestling and works by Jenji Kohan will love her next project. A show called GLOW, which is based on Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling, is headed to Netflix with ten glorious episodes of hot girl-on-girl action. The 80’s based series, Variety reports, is inspired by the real story of the league, much like how OITNB was inspired by the book. Don’t be too surprised if it deviates from the story in the slightest. GLOW will be set in Los Angeles and follow the story of an “out-of-work actress who finds one last attempt to live her dreams in the form of a weekly series about female wrestlers.” Unlike OITNB, GLOW is said to be a half hour comedy, snagging a ten episode straight to series order. If you want to know what you’re getting into, check out some GLOW highlights below:
Bo Burnham's trailer for his new special is oddly beautiful, captivating
Bo Burnham's next special is appearing on Netflix in June. But there's a trailer out today. In it, we follow the comedian on a walk through New York which leads to the Capital Theater, where the special was filmed. He also mentions the advantages he's had in life but humbly says he's unhappy. What a nice guy. The special is called Make Happy and will be out on June 3rd.
Joel McHale, Domhnall Gleeson join Will Forte and Netflix's 'National Lampoon' movie
Three big names are already attached to this National Lampoon biopic -- which in itself stems from a Josh Karp book -- with the likes of Netflix, director David Wain and lead actor Will Forte who will play the original lampoonian, Doug Kenny. Two weeks ago we reported that a movie called A Futile and Stupid Gesture that is based on the paper was to be made in conjunction with Netflix and Wain. Earlier this week, it was reported by Deadline that About Time star Domhnall Gleeseon had joined the project to play the co-founder of the satirical paper. He'll portray Robert Beard who, along with Forte's Kenny, founded the paper.
Now, THR has their own exclusive saying that Joel McHale will portray none other than his former Community costar Chevy Chase, whose career ostentatiously blew up from the paper. Chase starred in movies that Kenny wrote including Caddyshack. The movie is based on the 2006 book of the same name and is set to be written by Michael Colton and John Aboud.

Watch the trailer for that holiday Pee-Wee Herman movie that's not about the holidays
Listen up, rest of the world: no one in America uses the term "holiday" to describe taking time off from work. We say "vacation." I've been telling people and writing stories about this new Pee-Wee Herman movie and referring to it as a dang holiday (i.e. Christmas) movie! You've made me look like a fool! Anyways, Netflix released a new trailer for the upcoming Judd Apatow produced project. Pee-Wee is convinced by the super cool Joe Manganiello to take a much needed vacation from life so Herman decides to go to New York in order to visit his new friend. Along the way he is captured by bank robbers, ends up on a snake farm and is courted by several women. In other words, it's a normal Pee-Wee movie. Alia Shawkat, Stephanie Beatriz, David Arquette and others make up the supporting cast. Pee-Wee's Big Holiday premieres on Netflix on March 18th.
