Just For Laughs and YouTube's Maker Studios wants you to see every bit of stand up from your favorite comedians. Every single bit of it.
Variety reports that the two companies have teamed up to bring you never before seen (in video form at least) performances from the like of Dave Chappelle, Louis C.K., Chris Rock and many more.
Montreal hosts Just For Laughs as a main stage for comedians to get started. Because it is so heavily focused on showcasing newcomers, the videos are comprised of early versions of our beloved comedians. The show goes as far back as 1987.
Over 500 hours of Just For Laughs footage will be released three times a week. Their partnership with Maker is natural because of YouTube's expertise with short-form content. The channel hopes to accommodate original material drawn from current JFL-hosted festivals.
