Fox feels confident in "Ghosted" and "L.A. to Vegas"

New Girl is on its way out and Brooklyn Nine Nine airs sporadically but that's not stopping their parent network. Seeing this as an opportunity to expand its comedy show coverage, The Hollywood Reporter says Fox has decided to fully order two new shows to its slim slate. The first show, Ghosted, stars Adam Scott and Craig Ferguson as believer and skeptic respectively who are recruited by The Bureau Underground to examine paranormal activity in Los Angeles. But there is a bigger mystery afoot.

The second series -- L.A. to Vegas -- is about a group of people down on their luck trying to turn it all around by winning it big at a casino. This show takes place during the time of a Friday night flight from L.A. to Vegas and the return Sunday flight. Ed Weeks and Dylan McDermott are starring in the show that comes from Gary Sanchez Productions (Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Chris Hency).

Craig Ferguson's next venture is serious radio on SiriusXM

Craig Ferguson refuses to stay out of your range of media. Now the former Late Late Show host will be heading for your ears thanks to his new SiriusXM show. Variety reports that Ferguson will host a two hour live show that is completely "format free." The Craig Ferguson Show will consists of interview guests and viewer call in segments that radio shows are accustomed to. But there will also be sketches, host observations and "little story pieces" reminiscent of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, which itself came from a radio program and book.

The show should be as familiar as his CBS late night program because he's bringing along two of its old producers. The SiriusXM show would also free up Ferguson's interest rather than focus on one or two celbrity guests. Those who appear on the show would be people who interest him and not the flavor of the week. Ferguson says this show -- which is being recorded in his home in Los Angeles -- is under a two year deal and notes that it won't be for everyone: “I’m only making this show for people who already understand and like me.”

Amy Poehler, Craig Ferguson and others nominated for the coveted Grammy

Music lovers rejoice as the 2016 Grammy nominations were announced this morning. However, among the musicians and singers alike were some of the top comedians who had their own audiophile styled releases this year. Amy Poehler was nominated for her work reading her book Yes Please and Craig Ferguson, Wyatt Cenac and Louis C.K. were given nods for their latest standup releases. The Grammys will air on Monday February 15 on CBS. Check out the nominations below.

Craig Ferguson's New Talk Show is a No Go

Sad news for Ferguson fans: his new talk show is not happening.

Variety is reporting that Tribune Broadcasting has ended its attempt at creating a nightly talk show for the host. The half-hour show was going to be designed to air during the early evening starting fall 2015. However, Tribune wasn't able to secure broadcasters and affiliates in important markets. Tribune renewed Ferguson's gameshow “Celebrity Name Game” for a second season earlier this week. Ferguson ended his 10-year run as host of CBS’ “The Late Late Show” in December.

Craig Ferguson Welcomes James Corden to His New Job

James Corden stormed into The Late Late Show stage and demanded that Craig Ferguson show him around. "I'm in charge now, damnit!" He screamed with his sexy English accent. Ferguson shook his head. He looked at Corden and told him to hold on for a few more episodes. Corden calmed down and hugged Ferguson. Then the show started.

That's probably not how it happened but Craig Ferguson introduced new host James Corden to the Late Late Show crowd last night. CraigyFerg has two more episodes left. His final interview will be with Jay Leno. The two will probably talk about the talk shows they used to have. Ah, the good ol' days.
