Who knew that Woodstock held a comedy festival? I sure didn’t. But the folks at Splitsider did. The Woodstock Comedy Festival is in its fourth year and begins next week. Gilbert Gottfried, The Simpsons co-creator Mike Reiss an Susie Essman are among the entertainers scheduled to show up. Even better, proceeds from the festival go to local charities Family of Woodstock and Polaris. This is a panel based festival so expect a more intimate affair. The Woodstock Comedy Festival goes from September 23 to the 25.
