Pamela Aldon’s appearances on Louie (R.I.P) were always the best the series had to offer and equally cringe inducing. Remember that time they tried to date but she really, really wasn’t into it? Now, the show they co-created together will bow on September 8 on FX. Deadline reported the news of Better Things from the Awardline Emmy meeting during which an episode of C.K.’s other show Horace and Pete was aired. The show follows a single mother of three and is also an actress. C.K. stated he’d never seen this type of woman character on television before. He’s obviously forgetting Joyce Summers (Buffy), Christine Campbell (New Adventures of Old Christine), Susan Meyer (Desperate Housewives) but who’s counting. Aldon and C.K. wrote the pilot.
