You can't keep Erin Hayes down! Do you hear that, Kevin James? Months after the terrific comedic actress exited the CBS Kevin Can Wait sitcom, Hayes has been cast as the lead for Bryan Cranston's new Amazon series. Silicon Valley favorite Chris Diamantopoulos has joined the cast as well.
Created by Cranston and Greg Mottola, The Dangerous Book For Boys is based on the book of the same name. The story follows a young man and his brothers who are getting over the death of their dad (Diamantopoulos). He left a book to the kids that performs as a life style guide of sorts. The book creates a fantasy world in the youngest son's, Wyatt, mind in which his dad lives on.
Gabriel Bateman will take on the role of Wyatt while Drew Logan Powell and Swoosie Kurtz make up the other cast members. Diamantopoulos is also set to play the identical twin brother of the dad too.Hayes, on the other hand, will play the mother who is trying her best to keep life normal after the death of her husband. Mottola will direct the New York set series later this summer.
