Billy Crystal and Ben Schwartz to be unsatisfied, together

Comedy fans that always wanted Billy Crystal and Ben Schwartz to star in a movie together, you're in luck. Deadline reports the pair signed on to star in a new movie from Matt Ratner. 

We Are Unsatisfied follows a struggling comedian (Schwartz) moving from LA back home to Long Island where he befriends his alcoholic dermatologist (Crystal). Shooting begins next month in New York. 

Peter Hoare is helming the script. Ratner will produce with Chris Mangano and Rick Rosenthal through Ratner’s Tilted Windmill Productions, Mangano’s Mangano Movies & Media and Rosenthal’s Whitewater Films. Executive producers include Matt Bronson, Matt Jacobs, Bert Kern, Alexander R. Madorsky and Nick Morton.

Ben Schwartz and Laura Moses are headed to CBS

CBS's single camera slate continues to be grow with its latest addition coming from Gary Sanchez Productions, Ben Schwartz and Laura Moses. The series is titled Things You Should Already Know and Deadline describes it as a "single camera comedy about millennials." 

The series comes from a book Schwartz and Moses co-authored -- Things You Should Know About Dating, You F*ing Idiot -- coming out this fall. The show will cover a group of millennials who take time away from screens and start dating. Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Kevin Messick join Schwartz as executive producers.

Ben Schwartz and Noel Wells will celebrate a not-so-"Happy Anniversary" in Netflix's next "rom-com"

Not getting an Oscar nomination will never stop the streaming juggernaut Netflix as it sets its sight on yet another original film. Noel Wells and Ben Schwartz are set to star in Happy Anniversary from LEGO Batman writer Jared Stern. The movie follows a couple coming up on their third anniversary with troubles that could make or break their relationship. Events unfold over one day but flashbacks will help tell the story of how they got to that point. Variety reports that Stern will also direct. 

Shooting for Happy Anniversary stars at the end of the month in Los Angeles. This marks the second relationship drama and psuedo-comedy in as many years for Schwartz who played a supporting role in The Intervention. Wells is already part of the Netflix family thanks to her role in Aziz Ansari's Master of None.

Ben Schwartz and Lauren Lapkus star in a morning show that shoots at night (UPDATED)

The Earliest Show: The Proposal with Guest Reggie Miller from Reggie Miller

The worst part about morning shows is that they air in the morning. Wouldn't it be great if they shot in the middle of the night and aired around the same time? Not really but that's not stopping Lauren Lapkus and Ben Schwartz. The two have teamed for a Funny or Die series called The Earliest Show, a late night talk show that masquerades as a morning show. Josh (Schwartz) and Samantha (Lapkus) do all the hip morning show bits like cooking segments and guest interviews while trying the reach the valuable demographic of insomniacs and people who go to work at 3 AM.

As if that weren't enough, the show features a meta story that will dive into the lives of Josh and Samantha. Special guests include Reggie Miller, Reggie Watts, Jake Johnson, Thomas Middleditch, Jane Levy, Pedro Pascal, along with performances from Eugene Cordero, Betsy Sodaro and Arielle Vandenberg. Following the premiere, episodes will run from November 8 to December 6 every Tuesday.

Ben Schwartz and Laura Moses will offer us young people dating advice in new book

Dating is hard and Ben Schwartz knows that. The comedian, along with writer Lauren Moses, wrote a book to help facilitate young love. Schwartz announced the news via his website today. Joining the ranks of Aziz Ansari, Schwartz and Moses' book will teach the younger generations the nuances of dating. Better yet, this book will also be illustrated. And the book has a great title too: Things You Should Already Know, You F–king Idiot. Hachette Books will publish Things You Should Already Know, You F–king Idiot and I still can't get over typing that name. The release is yet to be determined so try not to make too much a fool of yourself. This book joins the other three that Schwartz cowrote: Grandma’s Dead: Breaking Bad News With Baby Animals, Maybe Your Leg Will Grow Back!: Looking on the Bright Side With Baby Animals, and Why is Daddy in a Dress?: Asking Awkward Questions With Baby Animals.
