After the singing success of the Tonight Show game turned Spike series Lip Sync Battle, Office alum Stephen Merchant and John Krasinski are doing more or less the same work they're known for over at Adult Swim. The two have co-producing a new series title Dream Corp, LLC a show about “an absurd workplace comedy set in a neglected dream therapy facility.” They jsut can't seem to escape office space. The show is created by Daniel Stessen. Dream Corp, LLC will feature a shifting cast of patients who “have their dreams recorded and analyzed by Dream Corp’s absent-minded professor, Dr. Roberts (Jon Gries), and his team of unremarkable scientists.”
That 'Lip Sync Battle' Show you wanted so bad now has a trailer
Lip Sync Battle is a popular sketch competition on The Tonight Show. Lip Sync Battle is a television show based on the popular sketch competition from The Tonight Show. LSB is hosted by LL Cool J for some reason. And Jimmy Fallon, John Krasinski, and Stephen Merchant are producing. Other famous people (like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Anna Kendrick, John Legend and more for some reason) will be performing - sorry, lip syncing - to popular songs. On April 2, Spike will air that show. Got it? Good. I really don't want to go over this again.
'Hello Ladies' Says Goodbye World with HBO Finale
Alas. The series that brought you the most cringe inducing moments on television is ending. Well it ended, like, months ago. HBO didn't pick it up for renewal. But the cable network did give the show a movie. Hello Ladies: The Movie is set to air this Saturday, November 22.
Here's the synopsis:
When Stuart learns that his British ex-girlfriend is planning to visit Los Angeles with her husband, he sets out to impress them with his glamorous lifestyle, enlisting a Russian model he’s just met to play the role of his beautiful girlfriend. What could go wrong?
Of course it will star the series' star/creator Stephen Merchant as the weird and horny Stuart. All of the cast is back including SNL's Kyle Mooney, Christine Woods and Nate Torrence.
Hello Ladies: The Movie will air at 10 PM. Be sure to bring enough blankets to cover your eyes as Stuart assuredly says something that will make your entire body heave in various directions. You can actually feel the awkward tension.
