FX's John Landgraf might say that there's too much TV but that won't stop ABC from bolstering their comedy offerings. In some weird backwards universe, the alphabet branded company is turning into what NBC once was with its comedy shows. The network recently bought what Deadline is dubbing a "Latino sibling comedy" from Peter Murrieta and Bobby Bowman. The untitled show will star Felipe Esparza, Dustin Ybarra, and a to be determined third sibling who live in a working class Mexican-American neighborhood in Los Angeles. The pilot was written by Murrieta and Bowman, who both have storied careers in the entertainment world from My Name Is Earl to Raising Hope to The Goldbergs and an upcoming Netflix Latino family reboot of One Day at a Time.
