Kate Berlant and John Early's new Vimeo show has a very...colorful trailer

Original shows seem to be very popular now. Video streaming sites are trying to snatch up their own original series and specials every single day. Vimeo recently joined that business late last year with their announcement that they're producing original shows such as Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld's Lonely and Horney and the Paul Scheer, Rob Huebel comedy special Crash Test.

Now the artsy streamer is set to premiere a show from funny people John Early and Kate Berlant called 555. Splitsider writes that the series is made up of five short films and is produced by Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. The trailer is bonkers and no words can really describe what's going on. But Kate and John are very funny so this show would be a no-brainer to watch. Find it streaming on Vimeo on January 31.

Hey Dinguses, John C. Reilly is Back as Steve Brule in Forthcoming Adult Swim Special

Absurdist humor is coming back to Adult Swim (as if it ever left) in the form of Steve Brule. John C. Reilly's aloof character that somehow has earned a doctorate is getting his own special next month. EW reports that the character is coming to the late night block Friday, February 20 at 12:30 AM in Bagboy.

Check out the premise below:

Several years ago, Brule starred in a sitcom pilot titled Bagboy about the employees and customers of Meyer’s Superfoods. In this pilot, he plays a bag boy who attempts to thwart a shoplifter while vying for the affections of a cashier named Daisy. Alas, Channel 5 ultimately shelved the show ‘due to its substandard quality and low entertainment value.’

Bagboy was co-written by Reilly and the original show's Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.
