Carol Burnett's new show will question the usefulness of small children

Netflix keeps picking up regular television's used pieces. Case in point: Carol Burnett's new show is getting ready for primetime on the service. Deadline reports the show -- A Little Help with Carol Burnett -- has been ordered with 12 episodes in mind.

The unscripted series will be shot in front of a live studio audience with a panel consisting of children aged four to eight. The goal is to see how the kids solve issues compared to older generations. A Little Help with Carol Burnett will air sometime next year.

Before the Kristin Wiigs and Melissa McCarthys, there was the great Carol Burnett. SAG-AFTRA's most esteemed award has already been given to the likes of Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Ernest Borgnine, Betty White, James Earl Jones among others making Burnett the 52nd recipient all around. The Hollywood Reporter says the awards take place this Saturday, Januray 29 at 8pm on TNT and TBS.
