Billy Eichner has seen every side of television any one actor can. Thanks to Billy on the Street, He's one of the few people in New York able to scream at a business woman in the middle of a busy sidewalk and get out unscathed. He came from the bowels of the internet, moved to probably very low ratings on Fuse TV and then landed at truTV with slightly better views. He even garnered his first Emmy nomination this year. Sadly, his show is once again moving but this time to an unknown home.
PageSix reported the news late last night after a source from truTV informed them of the move. Eichner confirmed the move in a tweet (see below). Separate sources say the show won't leave completely; it'll just change form. One of the sources says Eichner's growing list of acting gigs is to blame for the move, citing his inability to allot time to making full episodes of his own show. Whatever the incarnation, Billy on the Street is sure to garner some attention.
