John Cleese is everyone's favorite comedy uncle. One of them anyway. He's now returning to sitcoms on BBC -- his first since Fawlty Towers. Variety reports that Cleese and Alison Steadman will star in Edith. The show comes from Charles McKeown and centers on Steadman's widow lead whose ex-boyfriend (Cleese) visits often after moving in across the street. He finally gets her to agree to marriage but her 50 year old son (Jason Watkins) moves back home. THere's no date on when the show will air.
